This month we are in for a treat! Our own Anita Ball is going to give a demonstration workshop on making Echinacea tinctures. She will have a step by step process demonstrating the whole thing in a Power point, as well as physical examples of what to do and how it will look each step of the way. I am eager to learn what she has to teach us and put it into practice at home. Please plan to join us for another fun and informative evening of good fellowship and delicious food. However, be aware that you will need to plan to come early. Plan to arrive between 5:30 and 5:45 and to park at the Japanese Stroll Gardens. Lost and Found, a charity for children who have lost a loved one, are having a 5K event on the grounds of the Botanical Center. I understand they expect it to be a big event with a lot going on all over the part of the park near the building. The park will have a tram driving between the Japanese Stroll Gardens and the Botanical Center all evening, so you will have easy access to our meeting. We will begin the meeting with the meal to allow time for everyone to arrive in the room. So again, plan to arrive early and we will start eating at 6. I would encourage you, if you have time, to check out and support Lost and Found. It sounds like a wonderful organization doing good for hurting children in our area.
