Winter Cold and Flu Season
Stop the Sniffles-soothing Bath Soak
- 3 cups Epsom salts
- 3 T coconut oil
- 8 drops Eucalyptus radiata essential oil
- 4 drops sweet orange oil
Measure Epsom salts into medium bowl. In separate bowl mix essential oils into coconut oil. Add this mix into the Epsom salts until blended.
Use: ½ cup for teen and adults, ¼ cup for 7-12 year olds, 1-2 T for 2-6 year olds
- 2 cups Epsom salts
- ¼ oz dried peppermint leaves
- 1/10 oz dried calendula flowers
- 15 drops peppermint essential oil diluted in
- 1 T coconut oil
Measure Epsom salts into medium bowl. In separate bowl combine essential oil with the coconut oil. Stir into Epsom salts. When well blended, add the dried herbs. Stir to combine.
Use: ¼ cup into muslin bag and add to warm footbath, allowing salts to dissolve and the herbs to diffuse. 10-15 minute soak.
½ cup distilled water
½ cup vodka
25 drops sweet orange oil
15 drops lavender oil
15 drops eucalyptus oil
Mix well and store in a spray bottle. Shake prior to use.
